Charity Governance Awards 2025

SNAPS won the ‘People in Governance’ award at the Charity in Governance Awards 2025, which celebrates outstanding governance and trusteeship in charities across the UK. 

Judges praised the vital role that our Board has played in transforming SNAPS from a grassroots organisation into the professional charity it is today.

We are proud to have received a Child Friendly Leeds award for: Exceptional Contribution to the Child Friendly Leeds 12 Wishes.

This award recognises the individuals, projects and organisations who have positively contributed to one of the Child Friendly Leeds 12 wishes, which were developed with children and young people across Leeds in 2022.

Weston Charity Awards 2023

The impact of SNAPS’ current services and our future ambitions have been recognised with our selection as a 2023 Weston Charity Awards winner!

This award provides ten months of strategic planning support from a dedicated team of four business experts, thanks to pro bono charity Pilotlight and a core grant of £6,500 from the Garfield Weston Foundation.

SNAPS is a Founding Member of WY CANN (West Yorkshire Children’s Additional Needs Network).
